The diverse wildlife of Southern Utah can be seen and sometimes only heard in the Sky Ranch and St George area. Majestic bald eagles share the sky with red tailed hawks. Bobcats can be found in the area along with coyotes, kit foxes, and badgers. Desert big horn sheep quietly graze along with desert cottontails, pikas, and the yellow belly marmot. Southern Utah is also home to a diverse selection of reptiles such as the desert tortoise, gila monster, California kingsnake, collared lizard and the chuckwalla.
